This live, interactive design workshop helps stationery creators go from struggling to make their designs come out as they envisioned, to mastering Canva and design-to-print, so that they can confidently turn ideas that once felt impossible to execute into polished products they’re proud to sell. You’ll learn the skills and processes to create print-ready designs that reflect your creativity and truly stand out.

Workshop Format
This is a live, interactive Zoom workshop.

There will be 3 Modules during which you’ll be guided through real examples, live design workflows, and common stationery production mistakes.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll be invited to:

• Analyze designs together
• Share observations in the chat
• Think through design decisions in real time

You’re welcome to design along in Canva during parts of the session, but it’s completely optional. You’ll get just as much value by watching and thinking with me.

Module 1 - Thinking Like A Designer: Design Flaw Identification
By the end of this module, you’ll be able to look at any stationery design and immediately see what’s weakening it — margins, alignment, font overload, spacing, hierarchy, and element placement.

Module 2 - From Idea to Design (Canva Workflow)
In this module, you'll learn how to design your stationery with tips and tricks that make workflow faster, how to use templates as tools, not crutches, how to design for use, not just aesthetics, and how to have cohesion across multi-page products.

Module 3 - Designing for Reality: Printing, Cutting & Binding
You'll learn the most underrated and important skills in this module. The focus will be on issues a lot of stationery creators face when starting to physically make their products (printing, cutting and binding). In this module you'll learn to understand printer margins vs Canva margins, why borderless printing isn’t truly borderless, design bleed intentionally, and understand binding-safe margins, which all influence the printing, cutting and binding of you products.
